Sharing the Google Form

 



Data , data, data everywhere. Someone of you or an organization wants  to keep data secure and more accessible, then he may use Google Form.  Google Form offers better processing of his daily output. It also offers survey, analysis and utilizing a vast numbers of data in a digital manner.



Google Forms is an online form creator that allows you to create and share online forms and surveys, and analyze responses in real-time. You can use it to create online surveys and quizzes and send them to other people³. It is a full-featured forms tool that comes free with your Google account. You can add standard question types, drag and drop questions into the order you want, customize the form with simple photos or color themes, and gather responses in Forms or save them to a Google Sheets spreadsheet².


Google Forms can be access with a personal Google account or Google Workspace account (for business use)⁴.




Creating a Google Form


You can create a Google Form by going to the Google Forms website and signing in to your Google account if necessary. Then click the Blank form with a plus sign on it (or choose a template) and start creating your form⁵. You can also create a new Google Form by going to Google Drive and selecting "New" > "Google Forms"⁷.


There are several ways to make a Google Form. You can make it via the Forms website, from your Google Drive, via Google Sheets, or on your mobile device⁵. If you are new to Google Forms, you can follow this tutorial on how to create, edit, send, and review responses in Google Forms¹.


Some question in Google Forms: 



Google Forms offers a variety of question types to choose from, including multiple-choice, checkboxes, drop-down, short answers, paragraphs, and multiple-choice grid questions⁴. You can include up to 2,000 total choices and collect several types of answers in your form or quiz¹. You can also create a grid where responders can select one answer per row.



Adding images or videos to my form:


You can add images or videos to your Google Form by clicking on the "Insert image" or "Insert video" icon in the toolbar. You can also add images to your form by clicking on the "Add image" button in the question editor.




Adding a timer to my Google Form:



Yes, you can add a timer to your Google Form using add-ons such as Form Timer or Extended Forms⁴. You can install the add-on from the Google Workspace Marketplace and configure it to set up the timer for your quiz⁴. 



Difference between Google Forms and Google Sheets:


Google Forms is a versatile tool designed for creating online forms and surveys, facilitating data collection. On the other hand, Google Sheets is a powerful spreadsheet application that enables users to organize, manipulate, and analyze data¹. 


Google Forms excels in creating and customizing web forms, offering a variety of question types and data input possibilities. It makes data collection from respondents easier, making it perfect for surveys, feedback collection, and registrations. Google Sheets, on the other hand, does not include built-in form creation features but does allow users to store and manage data obtained using Google Forms¹. 



Creating a Google Sheet from my form responses:


You can create a Google Sheet from your form responses by clicking on the "Responses" tab in your Google Form and then clicking on the Google Sheets icon. This will create a new spreadsheet that contains all of your form responses. 


Using a Google Forms to collect payments or donations:





Google Forms does not provide an option for you to receive payment directly on your forms. However, there are some ways to make it happen. You can accept payment directly from Google Forms by using an add-on to enable a payment process with Stripe or link to a third-party website like Stripe or Paypal¹. 


You can add a progress bar to your Google Form by using an add-on such as Form Progress⁴. You can install the add-on from the Google Workspace Marketplace and configure it to set up the progress bar for your quiz⁴


viewing responses in real-time:



You can view responses in real-time by clicking on the "Responses" tab in your Google Form. You can also view responses in real-time by clicking on the "View responses in Sheets" button. This will open a new Google Sheets spreadsheet that contains all of your form responses. 



The maximum number of people who can respond to a Google Form:



Google Forms does not have a limit on the number of responses that can be submitted³. However, there are certain things that you should always keep in mind about the “Limit to 1 response” setting of Google Forms. It limits responses to one per user. Further, you can’t restrict the total number of responses to your survey³. 

Adding Google form to my blogspot site:



You can add a Google Form to your Blogspot site by embedding it. To do this, go to your Google Form and click on the "Send" button in the top right corner of the screen. Then click on the "Embed" tab and copy the HTML code that appears. 


Next, go to your Blogspot site and create a new post. Click on the "HTML" tab and paste the HTML code into the post. Then click on the "Publish" button to publish your post with the embedded Google Form⁴. 





Using Google sheet to the blogspot site



You can use Google Sheets on your Blogspot site by embedding it. To do this, go to your Google Sheet and click on the "File" menu. Then click on "Publish to the web" and select the sheet you want to embed. 


Next, go to your Blogspot site and create a new post. Click on the "HTML" tab and paste the HTML code into the post. Then click on the "Publish" button to publish your post with the embedded Google Sheet¹
